As you mentioned that the Message app is deleted. So, you can install the Google Message App from here : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.apps.messaging&hl=en. But if you want the same old message app then you can just do a factory reset of your phone. Just go to settings > Additional Settings > Backup & Reset > factory Data Reset. That’s it. But you will loose all you data which is stored in your phone memory. So, before doing this take a proper and complete backup. Or Else Compromise with the Google Message App the same i mentioned above.
