Micromax Android one is now Available with 8GB ROM

Google launched Android One Smartphones in India last year with the Indian Headset makers Micromax, Karbonn and Spice. Micromax Canvas A1 is the most successful launch out of three. These Android One Smartphones were launched with a price tag of Rs 6,500 and now the price of these Android one Smartphones is dropped to Rs 5000.

Now in the last month Micromax launched the new version of Micromax Android one which comes with 8GB ROM (Internal Memory)and runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop.

After the lollipop update in Android one Smartphones the Availability of memory space for apps was reduced as compared to KitKat 4.4.4 version. And this was the big disadvantage in Android one smartphones after lollipop update and with the result of which the sale of Android One Smartphones is decreased.

So, considering this point Micromax take a good step by launching the Android One 8GB ROM Variant. Also the new Micromax Canvas Android one (A1) runs on lollipop 5.1. So, you don’t need to update it as it comes with the updated version of Android lollipop.

The other features are same only the Android Version and ROM is upgraded in the new Micromax Canvas Android One Smartphone.
